JOB DESCRIPTION


Copenhagen Global A/S is a Danish company working internationally. We value agility, teamwork and a flat hierarchy, where people take action and work hands-on. We are looking for a Ship Fitter for fabrication and installation work within marine projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


The Ship Fitter will be responsible for fabrication and installation work within marine projects, including:

  • Fabrication and assembly of brackets, structures, and components for marine applications.
  • MIG and TIG welding in aluminium and stainless steel.
  • Installation and mounting work on vessels and related structures.
  • Reading and working from technical drawings and specifications.
  • Ensuring high quality workmanship in accordance with applicable standards and safety requirements.
  • Working both independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines.
  • Contributing to a flexible and efficient workshop and project environment.
  • Participating in project-based work, including occasional travel assignments.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Proven experience as a ship fitter, marine fabricator, or similar role.
  • Strong skills in MIG and TIG welding, particularly in aluminium and stainless steel.
  • Experience with fabrication and installation of marine components.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
  • High level of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to varied tasks and projects.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
  • Relevant technical or vocational education is an advantage, but not a requirement.
