JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a Procurement Coordinator, ideally with 4–6 years of experience, to support and coordinate procurement activities for production and operations, with a strong focus on daily purchasing, follow-up and supplier coordination.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


The Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and executing day-to-day procurement activities. Responsibilities include:

  • Hands-on processing of purchase orders (POs) and follow-up on deliveries
  • Managing and executing procurement activities for production and operations
  • Ensuring optimal pricing, lead times and payment terms in cooperation with suppliers
  • Maintaining and streamlining vendor and item catalogues
  • Securing minimum stock levels on fast-moving goods
  • Updating and maintaining accurate master data
  • Issuing, managing and following up on purchase orders in accordance with company procedures
  • Monitoring supplier performance and delivery accuracy
  • Actively collaborating with colleagues in Production, Warehouse and Finance
  • Maintaining strong supplier relationships and proactively addressing deviations or issues
  • Ensuring accurate purchasing documentation, data quality and compliance with internal procedures
  • Supporting cost control, budgeting and basic financial reporting related to procurement

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance or similar
  • 4–6 years of experience from a similar procurement or purchasing position
  • Solid experience with purchase order handling, supplier follow-up and procurement processes
  • Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Highly structured, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic and operational environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with ERP systems is an advantage
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central is an advantage
